Simplicity is key; sometimes one can get lost in our big South Asian wedding, however this bride really wanted something different, elements of the culture to be present but not the main focus. The couple were looking for a design that was elegant and collective. We started with the invite and went on to make all their wedding stationery from buffet cards, to lunch stall signs and ceremony programs. And of course ended with a thank you card! By keeping the same theme it really brought the wedding together and branded their day – from the minute guest got the invite, while they attended and then weeks later when they got the thank you card. Often we get lost in bigger and bolder, and forget that sometimes the simplest designs can make the boldest statements.
I love to see a happy bride and groom, who feel the designs evokes their personality and what they want their day to be. That is the best feeling in the world! Well all I have to say is mission accomplished!
